Daily tasks:
- Support relationship bankers in their day to day work;
- Contribute to the development of pitch books, monitoring market & sector developments, and assist on ad-hoc commercial projects (Event Driven Finance, Debt and Equity Capital Markets as well as the Strategic Dialogue);
- Supporting on the implementation of international transaction banking and lending deals;
- Work with credit analyst team for ongoing credit requests (annual reviews and ad hoc requests);
- Perform ESG assessment of our client base;
- Assisting in collection of legal, Compliance and Know-Your-Customer (KYC) information, feed internal systems and liaise with Due Diligence and Compliance teams for further distribution.
We are looking for:
- A graduate or a student in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Econometrics or another relevant field. In case you have a different background, though with a strong interest in banking, you are also encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills – ability to liaise across business lines and geographic regions in order to ensure effective delivery of credit proposals and client services.

Concrètement votre quotidien?
En tant que VIE Actuaire, vous serez intégré(e) à l’équipe actuarielle composée d’expert·es basés aux Pays‑Bas et en Belgique. Vous travaillerez en lien étroit avec les équipes sinistres, IT, commerciales et comptables.
Vos missions principales seront les suivantes :
- Développer et maintenir des tableaux de bord de suivi des risques en Python / Power BI afin d’analyser l’expérience de production et de sinistres.
- Conduire des études techniques en Python (pandas, statsmodels), notamment via des modèles linéaires généralisés (régressions Poisson / logistique).
- Participer au développement d’un nouvel outil de provisionnement en Python, incluant l’analyse méthodologique et la réécriture de codes aujourd’hui utilisés dans d’autres langages.
- Contribuer à l’automatisation de processus existants liés aux reportings réglementaires (Solvabilité 2, IFRS‑like).
- Collaborer avec les différentes équipes métiers afin de fiabiliser et améliorer la production technique.

Fixée par arrêté ministériel, elle est versée mensuellement et se compose de deux éléments :
- Une indemnité commune, identique pour tous les jeunes en mission
- Une indemnité géographique, variable selon le pays (et parfois la ville) de destination. Cette indemnité est recalculée chaque trimestre.

The Depositary Officer is situated within CIB2S Netherlands in Amsterdam and reports directly to the head of Depositary Officer CIB2S Netherlands.
You are the driving force for new developments and preparing stable delivery of change to production and will overlook the change process from beginning to end. Your responsibilities
Within Securities Services, the main role of the Depository & Fiduciary Services teams (DFS),
wherever they operate, is twofold:
- Discharge the Bank’s oversight responsibilities on the fund managers (and their trading activity) and any other stakeholders (eg fund administrators, agency lenders, clearers, collateral agents,…) relevant to the funds we are appointed trustee or depositary for;
- Oversee the operations of any other departments of the Bank involved in its discharging its trustee or depositary responsibility, eg custody and specialist safekeeping teams.
In addition to performing post trade investment compliance monitoring in a fiduciary capacity, we offer this service in a commercial capacity in a number of markets, eg Luxembourg, France, Germany, Ireland, Singapore, the Netherlands and increasingly in the UK. This service is offered primarily to asset owners, bundled with other ‘master custody’ types of solutions.
The Depositary Officers interface objectively between the clients and the regulatory authorities and are responsible for a wide spectrum of control services including cash monitoring, ownership verifications, NAV controls, risk and compliance controls. The main tasks and responsibilities are:
- Analysing fund structures and investment strategies (securities, derivatives & alternatives) to execute oversight.
- Perform controls and act as point of contact for the client with regard to cash flow monitoring, oversight (e.g. compliance monitoring) and ownership verification.
- Audit depositary related operations (custody, cash management, reconciliations, fund administration, transfer agency).
- Review and control operational Depositary services performed by international centers of excellence.
- Monitor, evaluate and adapt internal procedures to remain compliant with the Fund rules and regulations (Wft, AIFMD, UCITS).
- Analyze AO/IC and ISAE 3402 procedures, evaluate dependencies and where needed suggest improvements.
- Contribute to the global operational risk management program of BNP Paribas Securities Services whilst acting as depositary and custodian.
- Act as a ressource for colleagues with less experience
- Report on the depositary services to the client and set-up depositary meetings in which the services will be evaluated.

Who are you
- Master degree in finance or (financial) economics or controlling

- Native level Dutch and fluent English (this is an absolute must!)

- In case of any doubts, you discuss with the team or contact local technical expert before taking any action
