Performance Analyst (Senior)

Reporting to the Head of Reporting, this role is responsible for the Performance Measurement and the timely, accurate and complete production of reports to Dutch Institutional Clients of BNP Paribas SA Amsterdam branch. To make sure that data consistency, delivery deadlines, delivery channels and sales requirements are operated under sharp monitoring. Given the nature of the client focused business, there is a close cooperation with clients and other global and local teams.

The position

The main tasks and responsibilities are:

•       Be on top of changes in legislation and market practices with regard to performance measurement and client reporting
• Participate in migration and onboarding projects and analyze developments in the field of performance and investment reporting.
• Participate in improvement projects
• Timely, accurate and complete reporting to BNP Paribas’ clients and regulators
• Implement new products, changes in processes and maintenance of systems and reports in close cooperation with both local and global teams
• Assessing the consistency of the various internal and external reports
• Maintain a client focus and obtain high level of client satisfaction
• Be the first point of contact for Dutch clients regarding reporting and performance queries
• Contribute to achievement of exceptionally good operational results for clients
• Receive recognition of high quality service from clients
• Contribute to the management of operational risks and internal control
• Demonstrate strong working knowledge of the market and monitoring market movements
• Assist in the development of the business by analyzing and helping to evaluate impact of market changes.

The requirements

•       Bachelor or University degree in Finance, (Applied) Economics or equivalent
•       3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience, preferably in Financial Services
•       Knowledge and experience in performance measurement and investment reporting for institutional clients and regulators
•       Knowledge and understanding of investment strategies, reporting systems and investment procedures
•       Profound knowledge of equity and fixed income product as well as derivatives
•       Knowledge and understanding of Dutch securities market practice and the relevant laws and regulations (e.g.: FTK, PRIIPS and AIFMD)
•       Advanced technical skills (mainly MS Excel skills)
•       Proven ability to work within an integrated management system such as SimCorp Dimension
•       Native Dutch and fluent in English, both verbally and written
•       Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
•       Accurate and able to work with tight deadlines
