    BNP Paribas Securities Services, based in Utrecht, is a leading provider of Dutch custody and settlement-related services to financial institutions

    Although the ties between BNP Paribas Group and the Netherlands go back to the 19th century (Banque de Paris and the Netherlands Credit and Deposit Bank), the Dutch Branch of BNP Paribas Securities Services is much younger since operations began only in November 2000. Yet in such a short time, it has already become a leading provider of custody and settlement services in the Netherlands.

    BNP Paribas Securities Services offer their clients a comprehensive “one-stop” solution to back their trading and investment operations in the Netherlands, whether for equities, bonds or derivatives. Their offer is also perfectly integrated in the Euronext custody and settlement offer of BNP Paribas Securities Services.     Main activities:

    • The coverage team of BNP Paribas Securities Services is responsible for the acquiring of new clients and management of relationships with clients.
    • The local custody services team of BNP Paribas Securities Services is responsible for gathering and reporting on companies registered on the AEX.
    • The local corporate trust services team of BNP Paribas Securities Services is responsible for issuance and settlements of warrants, proxy voting, etc.

    BNP Paribas Personal Finance is the European market leader in personal finance. With offices in more than 30 countries BNP Paribas Personal Finance has 17,500 employees. In the Netherlands BNP Paribas Personal Finance finances two products; consumer credit and mortgages.

    Consumer credit
    Since the end of 2017, BNP Paribas Personal Finance offers ‘The Most Personal Loan’ for private clients. This service is fully digitally offered via intermediary channels. All operational tasks are assigned to an outsourced partner. The used business mode offers an innovative financial product through a flexible and flat organizational structure.

    In addition, BNP Paribas Personal Finance in the Netherlands provided mortgages to more than 50,000 households until the end of 2012. Nowadays there is no active sale of new mortgages anymore. Existing customers can still go to BNP Paribas Personal Finance for all possible adjustments and services to their mortgages. The main goal is to end the mortgages safely and carefree together with the customers.
