Arval experienced strong business growth and surpassed its goals in 2014.
Since 2012, Arval had been undertaking a large number of strategic programmes that yielded results in 2014. By introducing more flexibility in the choice of rental periods, from mid- to long-term, offering full outsourcing solutions, or implementing innovative initiatives like Arval Smart Experience, Arval is making customers’ and drivers’ concerns the focal point of its business. The upsurge in the number of vehicles leased in 2014 compared to 2013 proves the success of these initiatives.
Specialised Arval entities such as the International Business Office (IBO) which is dedicated to international corporate accounts, and SME Solutions for independent professionals and small companies, each leased 150,000 vehicles, proof that Arval’s expertise addresses companies of all sizes.
Arval also pursues its growth by means of cross-selling with BNP Paribas in France, Belgium, Italy, Turkey, Morocco, Poland… as well as partnerships in various countries, particularly in Spain.
“In 2014, Arval adopted a new signature: ‘Arval. We care about cars. We care about you.’ thus starting a new page in its history. This signature reflects our commitment to service quality and expertise. We can say that our message came across clearly to our customers in 2014, and that they rewarded us for our efforts,” says Arval CEO Philippe Bismut. “We are confident, and all Arval teams have set themselves the target to reach 6% growth in 2015 and exceed the 800,000 mark for vehicles leased by the end of 2016.”
Arval Netherlands contributes to growth Arval Group Also Arval Netherlands contributed to the Group’s success in 2014: “Our fleet grew while the overall market was stable and showed a decline in the large corporate segment. This growth was linked to several initiatives: our approach to the SME market, the roll out of digital tools and apps within the Arval Smart Experience programme, the launch of new products like Arval Mid-Term Rental and the continued focus on our service delivery with our Arval driverteam resulting in very strong client endorsement in our NPS survey.”, says Liam Donnelly, Managing Director of Arval Netherlands.
