Job description

CTBE NL (Corporate & Transaction Banking Europe NL) is a department of BNP Paribas in the Netherlands, responsible for the global coverage of Dutch Large & Midcap corporate clients, the local coverage of non-Dutch multinational clients, and for global transaction banking products and expertise for all types of clients covered in, or out of, the Netherlands (Cash Management, and Global Trade Services).

BNP Paribas Amsterdam is looking for an enthusiastic person who will take care of the following tasks:

• Management of agenda, travel and accommodation arrangements


• Dealing with telephone and email enquiries (Lotus Notes)


• Proficiency on general word processing, presentation, spreadsheet, and simple database softwares


• Creating and maintaining storing / filing systems


• Involvement, or back up role, in the coordination of internal or external activities for the department


• Booking rooms, arranging and hosting meetings, taking minutes, and keeping notes


• Liaising with members of staff in other departments or external contacts


• Ordering and maintaining stationery and equipment supplies

We ask:

• Education: experienced MBO, or HBO education level or similar


• Key personal skills: organisation and communication skills, fast, flexibility, creativity, and sense of initiative


• Languages: fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French may be appreciated


• IT: standard MS office applications should be mastered


• Relevant professional experience in all job description’s aspects; references would be appreciated

We offer:

• A full time (36-40 hours per week), interesting and challenging job


• Duration: February 2010 until end July 2010 (after this period extension could be possible)
