Job description

The person will be responsible for analyzing and managing credit portfolios of large and mid sized corporates, active in a wide range of economic sectors (including real estate, shipping, utilities, and retail).

The main tasks are:

• Detailed credit analysis and due diligence on corporate credit risk.


• Reviewing existing credit portfolio on a regular basis


• Making a professional presentation of credit proposals to Risk Officers and Credit Committees

Excellent knowledge of the Dutch market. The analyst will work in a small team with relationship managers, product specialists and sector specialists. The position provides a good learning curve for cash flow analysis, financial modelling, working with risk return tools (Raroc, Valrisk), credit rating methodology, and product knowledge (including derivatives, asset financing and commodities).

As such the position is a good entry point for a further career within the Group offering a wide range of finance disciplines.

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:

• Strong communication & presentation skills


• Excellent analytical and numerical skills


• Understanding of basic risk measuring concepts

The position will be based in Amsterdam.

Experience:
We are looking for candidates with preferably 2-3 years experience in a similar function.

Education:
Relevant University Degree preferably (in process being) enriched with an MBA or equivalent

Languages:
Proposals are written in English, speaking Dutch is required. Speaking French would be an advantage.

As soon as possible
